What are your thoughts on Windows 8? We upgraded one of our office ultrabooks shortly after the launch of Windows 8 and found the operating system quite sluggish and unreliable. We looked for any relevant driver updates in case this was the cause of our woes, but found the ultrabook was running the latest drivers.
On the flip side, we have been testing a Samsung 5001TC laptop tablet which was designed for Windows 8 and seems to perform really well with the Windows 8 interface coming to life with a touch screen.
It seems as though we are not the only ones who have had issue with Windows 8. Microsofts industry partners are also not happy with Windows 8 and claim it is destroying the PC industry:
