Truelove Property & Construction Ltd was established in July 1968, and have sites in Lincoln and Nottingham, employing around 30 office based personnel as well as site staff.
Active8 deliver fully managed IT services covering both sites to all staff with unlimited helpdesk and on-site support. We proactively monitor the infrastructure around the clock to mitigate any arising issues. We implemented a site to site link between Lincoln and Nottingham allowing the two sites to work together seamlessly.
We were also asked to implement a new server infrastructure to replace ageing on-premise equipment which presented a risk to the business. Active8 installed a new server utilizing Microsoft Hyper-V technology and now run the exiting servers as virtual machines. This provide a more flexible and scalable platform for the business.
Building on Success
Active8 project managed an email migration from on-premise Microsoft Exchange to Office 365. This provides easier access to mailboxes and also allows staff to collaborate regardless of whether they are in Lincoln, Nottingham or on-site.
We manage the network using additional tools such as; cloud backup, managed anti-virus and patch management. These tools ensure all devices are secure, up to date and downtime is minimised. The cloud backup agents ensure all data resides in three locations and with disaster recovery in mind ensures we can recover a single file or an entire server rapidly.
